K Karpen: "Showing Up" (Sermon for November 23, 2025)

‘Lord, when was it that we saw you hungry and gave you food or thirsty and gave you something to drink?' Matthew 25:44

It occurs to me that some of the most caring and generous people I know don't understand how unusual they are. They go through life with a natural sensitivity to what is going on around them. And not responding to an opportunity to give, seems unthinkable to them.

Now that I think about it, I actually know a lot of people like that! So many are part of our faith community. That is one of the things that make St Paul & St Andrew so amazing!

This Sunday we will all have a chance to help keep the amazing going. Please bring your pledge card with you (or grab the one in your bulletin), as we share in our Love in Action Pledge Campaign for 2026!
